Veneers are primarily used in the visible front teeth area. They can be an aesthetic solution if teeth are fundamentally healthy, but their appearance does not meet your expectations.

Veneers are custom-made ceramic facing shells. 

They are permanently bonded to the front surface of a tooth, thereby primarily altering its visible shape and colour. 

Unlike a dental crown, a veneer does not encase the entire tooth, but only covers the outer, visible surface.
